Unhinged Trump Finally Cracks In Public, Claims Jack Smith Will ‘Execute Everybody!’ in Deranged Press Conference Rant

Get this man on meds, STAT.

It was only a matter of time before Donald Trump began to show real, measurable signs of his mental decline. We’ve covered it a lot on this site, but in the past, I honestly felt like I had to draw a lot of conclusions for you, my readers. That is not the case today.

Donald Trump can just tell you himself that he’s out of his mind. That’s a hell of a lead-in for this article, but I’m about to follow through.

I don’t know who’s in charge these days of giving that one last little talk before he goes and stands in front of a microphone. Actually, I don’t even know if that’s really a thing. I guess I just always assumed that there was a final firewall that Trump just had to make it through for them to let him speak publicly.

His handlers would have to be absolute idiots, otherwise. To let him just go off half-cocked would be like giving a 6-year-old a can of Mt. Dew, a BB gun, and a cat.

Whoever it is, if that position actually exists, they’re sleeping on the job. Because the presser he gave today was looney-tunes, batsh*t crazypants. He spewed so much completely insane garbage during this presser that I couldn’t possibly fit all of the clips I found in tweets into this article.

In all, he claimed he’s renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, threatened to invade Greenland, suggested Hezbollah was at the Jan. 6 riot, and ranted about windmills — again. But the part that stuck out for me as truly deranged was when he was talking about Jack Smith, the special prosecutor who was appointed to investigate Trump’s illegal possession of classified documents as well as his blatantly unconstitutional efforts to usurp American democracy.

Smith is in possession of leagues of testimony from former Trump aides, fellow Republicans, people who were previously allies, all showing a willful and malicious effort by Trump to hold on to the reins of power after losing the election of 2020.

Smith is a next level foe for Trump. Robert Mueller may have been frustrating for him the first time he was in office, but the Smith investigation and subsequent prosecution was a work of art. Even after the Supreme Court ruled in Trump’s favor that much of his activity was protected by “presidential immunity,” Smith found a way to reindict Trump using wholly different language that put the charges outside those confines.

That’s a threat to Trump. So he’s had it out for Smith since day one. But what he said about Smith at the presser today was unhinged at best.

From 2008 to 2010, Smith worked as investigation coordinator for the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands. That means he worked on cases of genocide, war crimes, crimes of aggression, and the like.

“He shouldn’t be allowed to execute people because he will execute everybody!” Trump exclaimed. “He’s a nut job. But we won all of those cases with him.”

Trump is off his rocker. The Netherlands, where the Hague is located, doesn’t have the death penalty. But even if they did, how would an investigation coordinator be responsible for doing the actual executions? He wasn’t even in charge of cases, let alone whether or not defendants would be executed.

But that’s what Trump fears the most. You can absolutely tell that he cowers before the specter of Jack Smith.

Trump’s rant knew no end.

Nobody’s ever won so many cases as I have against the Justice Department. I mean, Jack Smith had cases all over the place. People were being subpoenaed, lives were being ruined. That’s a sick group of people. And it was all to influence the election. It was all a fight against a political opponent.

We’ve never had that in this country. We have had that in certain countries. We’ve had that in third-tier countries. We’ve had that in banana republics, but we’ve never had that in a place like the United States. I don’t even know if it’s been on a small level. I’m sure it has been on a small level, but this was the largest level ever.

That’s the last gasp of a madman. None of the cases brought against Trump were for political reasons, they were because he was accused of crimes. The people who testified against him were fellow Republicans. And he didn’t “win” the DOJ cases — Smith dropped them after Trump won the election that he shouldn’t have been allowed to run in in the first place.

Trump HAS had more DOJ cases against him than almost any other person ever. And from the very first one more than 50 years ago, when he was found guilty of refusing to rent to Black tenants, he’s got a losing record.

And now he’s lost his mind as well.
