Trump Continues to Troll Taylor Swift With Incredibly Immature Truth Social Post
At the 2025 Super Bowl in New Orleans, history was made—not just because the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22, but because the jumbotron became a battlefield of public opinion. President Donald Trump and pop sensation Taylor Swift both got their time on the big screen, with reactions so polarizing they could have been mistaken for rival teams.
First up, President Trump graced the jumbotron, receiving what he later described as “massive cheers.” Sure, there were claps, but let’s not rule out the presence of a few awkward golf claps and some people just standing up to stretch their legs. Regardless, Trump leaned into the moment, marking himself as the first sitting U.S. president to attend a Super Bowl. Cue the historical footnote.
Then came Taylor Swift, the music industry’s MVP and queen of breakup anthems, who was there to cheer on her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Unfortunately for her, the audience was clearly divided, as boos rippled through the stadium like an unexpected gust of wind. Taylor, ever the professional, kept her composure, chatting with her all-star entourage, which included Ice Spice and the Haim sisters. The crowd, however, seemed to be saying, “We don’t want to be in this love story.”
President Trump wasted no time capitalizing on the drama. Over on his Truth Social account, he gleefully posted a video of Swift’s less-than-enthusiastic reception, captioning it, “Trump gets massive cheers at the Super Bowl while Taylor Swift gets booed – The world is healing.” Healing, in this context, apparently involves sports fans venting their emotions like it’s a therapy session.

Not stopping there, Trump took a detour into meme territory, sharing an edited photo of Swift holding a flag that read, “Trump won, Democrats cheated!” Subtlety clearly isn’t in his playbook, but hey, at least his meme game is strong.

The frosty vibes between Trump and Swift are nothing new. Swift has endorsed Democratic candidates, including Joe Biden in 2020 and Kamala Harris in 2024, which puts her directly at odds with Trump. Let’s just say their relationship status would be “It’s Complicated” on Facebook—if Facebook still mattered.
Of course, Swift’s army of supporters wasn’t about to let her face the boos alone. Tennis legend Serena Williams came to the rescue, posting on social media: “I love you @taylorswift13 don’t listen to those boos!!!” Because if there’s one thing Swift knows, it’s how to Shake It Off.
Meanwhile, the Super Bowl wasn’t short on entertainment. Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show brought the house down with surprise appearances from Samuel L. Jackson and Serena Williams. Celebrities like Jay-Z, Tom Brady, and Paul McCartney were spotted in the crowd, proving that the Super Bowl remains the Oscars of sports.
As the dust settles, one thing is clear: the Super Bowl isn’t just about touchdowns anymore—it’s also about political statements, celebrity drama, and the occasional boo. Whether you’re Team Trump or Team Swift, one thing’s for sure: no one is safe from the jumbotron.
