Mitt Romney Breaks Party Lines to Slam Trump, ‘I am Sickened by Trump’s Behavior’
Utah Sen. Mitt Romney said Friday that he is “sickened” by the behavior described in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report, including the actions of President Trump.
“I am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President,” Romney said in a statement posted to Twitter.
Romney’s comments came a day after Attorney General William Barr released the 448-page report on Thursday detailing Mueller’s findings from his probe into the 2016 election and the Trump campaign.

The report details various instances in which White House aides acted at times to protect the president and other times themselves by ignoring certain directives involving probes around his campaign and administration.
Considering Romney is a powerful U.S. Senator, he was quickly called out for not doing more to stop Trump:
Romney is "sickened". If only he were one of the most powerful US Senators… https://t.co/qKxIdrQYzp

You can only flip-flop back & forth between Principled Trump Critic and Trump Suckup so many times before people stop taking you seriously. https://t.co/3ojfnOwdYw

It is shameful and disgraceful that even so called independent Republicans believe that this President should stay in the office after what he has done and what he continues to do everyday. @SenatorRomney if you believe in country over party you would be calling for #Impeachment https://t.co/7g2clWiNcP

Senator, you remain an example of the worst of "politics as usual." America is in crisis and you're content to offer meaningless commentary backed up, yet again, by zero action. You should be ashamed that you care so little for the fate of our system of government.

I like how your statement literally says that even though there's a sickening amount of unethical, immoral, and even possibly criminal behavior detailed in the report, there wasn't quite enough evidence to charge as the process of charging him a crime is troublesome.
