Conservative artist Jon McNaughton is the gift that keeps on giving.

McNaughton’s works have drawn considerable attention online — from pro-Trump conservatives, and yes, even the art world.

McNaughton is known for fawning depictions of Donald Trump, other Republicans, and religious figures. He is also known for his outlandish paintings of former President Barack Obama and Democrats, who are often depicted conducting heinous acts like burning the US Constitution or excoriating Jesus Christ on the floor of the House of Representatives.

He has received high praise for his work from many Republican elected officials. His painting of the biblical figure Moses hangs inside the Louisiana Department of Justice Building. An edition of the same painting was the subject of an auction by South Carolina Rep. Jeff Duncan, a conservative Republican.

McNaughton’s most recent painting, titled “MAGA Ride” shows Trump on a motorcycle with Melania on the back.

The artist describes the “work of art”:

“I wanted to paint a picture of President Trump and Melania on a jacked-up motorcycle, painted up with the American flag and patriotism, as they ride down a bumpy, crumbling road that represents the hazards and the problems that this presidency has faced since Trump has been elected. Behind the president are a broad variety of Americans. Some are wearing their red, MAGA hats, a veteran saluting, and people from all walks of life. They are all there, and we are cheering on our president. If you look closely in the cracks you might see something interesting there. Get ready . . . this is the MAGA Ride!”
