Trump Just Said He Wants to Serve More Than Two Terms, ‘Three, Four, Maybe Five Terms!’
Donald Trump is in rural Pennsylvania in an attempt to galvanize his supporters and bolster his standing in a battleground state crucial to his reelection bid.
Trump is holding his fifth “Make America Great Again” rally of 2019 in the small town of Montoursville in central Pennsylvania Monday night, and arrived shortly after 7 p.m. Before Mr. Trump’s poll-defying victory in 2016, the last Republican to carry the state was President George. H. W. Bush in 1988.
Trump rambled about his normal complaints, saying the lights were too bright, and that he preferred the sun.
He also made the comment that he would like to serve more than two terms as president.

Trump said, “Maybe if we really like it a lot, and if things keep going like they’re going we’ll go and we’ll do what we have to do. We’ll do a three and a four and a five.”
Twitter had some thoughts:
Does Trump not realize that if it were possible to serve more than two terms Obama would still be president?

These are not quips or jokes. The only reason he is not indicted right now is because of his job. He is only running for re-election so the statute of limitations on some of those crimes can run out.

I honestly think in his sick brain he thinks he's there forever it will be hard to get him out even if he had a second term he's not going to just leave and I don't think our country has ever faced this before. This isn't a joke he's serious

it's wrong to keep writing this off as just jokes
he's been saying similar things to this for awhile now, as have some of his shills, at some point people start thinking "why not" and it becomes normalised
