Trump Lied About His Meeting With Prince Charles and It Makes Zero Sense Whatsoever
Donald Trump’s state visit to the United Kingdom has been met with protests and astonishment in that country as the President has caused controversy practically every day. Trump talked about his meeting with Prince Charles, heir to the British throne, Wednesday morning and his report was interesting.
Speaking to a British morning TV show, Trump said he had spoken to Prince Charles for 90 minutes – 75 minutes longer than scheduled – and the Prince did most of the talking. Though this might seem unlikely, Prince Charles is known to be verbose and very concerned about climate change.
“He is really into climate change and I think that’s great. What he really wants and what he really feels warmly about is the future. He wants to make sure future generations have climate that is good climate, as opposed to a disaster, and I agree,” Trump said.
However, the meeting was not 90 minutes long, and wasn’t scheduled for 15 minutes.

It was a 30 minute scheduled meeting that lasted for 45 minutes. Why Trump lies about such little things we will never understand.
Trump told @GMB his meeting with Prince Charles was meant to last 15 minutes and went on for an hour and a half.

But Trump was clearly not convinced by the Prince’s call to action. He was interviewed by Piers Morgan, a Trump-friendly presenter who did not ask about the Paris climate change accord.
“I did say, ‘Well, the United States right now has among the cleanest climates there are based on all statistics.’ And it’s even getting better because I agree with that we want the best water, the cleanest water. It’s crystal clean, has to be crystal clean clear,” the President said.
Trump blamed other countries for having ‘not very good air, not very good water, and the sense of pollution’.
“I believe there’s a change in weather, and I think it changes both ways,” Trump said. “Don’t forget, it used to be called global warming, that wasn’t working, then it was called climate change. Now it’s actually called extreme weather, because with extreme weather you can’t miss.”
