MAGAs Are FURIOUS that Students Protested Melania Receiving Charity Award: ‘Ignorant,’ ‘Indoctrinated,’ ….

Well, now that went over well.

Two days ago we first reported that Palm Beach Atlantic University, an institution that has inexplicably been overlooked by the Ivy League, awarded Melania Trump its “Women of Distinction” award.

The “Women” is not a typo, because for 28 years the award has gone to two local women who had plunged themselves into local charities and other good causes. This year, the directors of the award determined to break with tradition and give the award to a woman who wasn’t local, and hadn’t plunged herself into good works, Melania Trump.

Moreover, the presenters determined it would be “disrespectful” to give the award to the FLOTUS and another woman, even though it had always gone to two women, because of course it would it would be disrespectful. No one can stand side by side with Melania, she would be furious if someone shared “her” spotlight.

Regardless, yesterday Nicole and Heather covered the highlights all day, and y’all spread the news fast.

Thus, as your ever loyal servant here at Flare, (Or, at least Nicole’s loyal servant), the blog took the time to research what some of the MAGAs had to say about students who protested our FLOTUS receiving the award. To the school’s credit, many students and alum had … misgivings, about giving their most prestigious award to someone who famously told the world that she could not believe she was getting on a plane to go see those dirty kids in cages. No, she did not say it in an interview, she wore a coat that she just happened to have laying around and certainly didn’t order it for the occasion, saying “I don’t care, do u?”

That’s our girl, Melania, charity and good works champion.

Again, we want to be fair to the Ivy-League-Overlooked institution. Many of the alumni and students were not at all happy to have their school and that award go to someone so … “uncaring”? … and let their thoughts be known, as is their right. After all, the students and alum have a strong personal attachment to their school. But the woman who chaired the search committee has a strong personal attachment to Mar-a-Lago. She is a member.

With respect to the students and alum protesting? Up with that, the MAGAs would not put. You’ll be stunned by the depth of some of the responses. To many MAGAs, students protesting simply means they are “ignorant.” And that’s that.

Yes, because clearly, the only response by people who are educated with critical thinking is to celebrate this perfect woman. Only an “Indoctrinated” person would fail to see something so obvious.  Irony.

See, real educated people have the critical thinking skills to discern Melania’s character and good works that deserve recognition, like this person below:

The following might be my favorite. MAGAs know that protesting or disagreeing with Trump is a sure sign of ignorance and lack of research. It’s just “obvious,” right?

We do have a name for them! The word is “educated” or “cultured,” or “discerning,” or “contemplative,” or how about just “not a racist”? This woman should go to school, because she’d learn more words.

OK, last, I have a special treat because I like y’all, and you deserve it. Here is the real MAGA spirit. Remember, a real person really believes this, which is proof that the reality-show White House is a hit!:

“Shown her care for all children?” Wait, dude, she flat told you that she didn’t care when she went to visit those brown kids on the border. So, what you meant to write was “all white kids in and around “good” Republican areas, that happen to be sitting around when the WH needs some good press.”

These are the same people that put “ape” faces on Michelle Obama and mocked the fact that she strongly advocated for kids’ health by encouraging exercise and healthy-eating – they mocked her. Additionally, only the MAGAs would hold it against Michelle for having a college degree and law degree from Harvard. “Elitist tramp,” who is she to be all “educated” and uppity anyway? That is their thinking.

Oh, and Jackie Kennedy-Onassis (Notice the MAGA head helpfully reminded people that she was JFK’s wife), was purported to be very classy and caring, too. The entire world loved Onassis, but not like Melania! I guess.

So there’s the response. How dare those educated – indoctrinated – students from that school (as opposed to the MAGA warriors behind their keyboards) protest the award given in their name! The nerve of them …
