Trump Points Out That His Middle Name is ‘John’ — and Obama’s is ‘Hussein’

Donald Trump held a “Keep American Great” campaign rally in Las Vegas on Friday on the eve of Nevada’s hotly anticipated Democratic caucuses – the latest event in an emerging pattern that suggests one of the Trump campaign’s reelection strategies during the primary season.

The rally follows similar events in Iowa and New Hampshire on the day before Democratic nominating contests in those early-voting states. The president has used the events to stoke his base and tout his achievements while criticizing individual Democratic candidates and undermining faith in the process and the party as a whole.

He is also scheduled to hold a rally in South Carolina on the night before the state’s primaries, and another in Charlotte, North Carolina, on the eve of Super Tuesday, when voters in 14 states will head to the polls.

During Friday’s Las Vegas event, Trump once again cast doubt on the integrity of the Democrats’ elections, harping on the Iowa caucuses, in which technology issues resulted in a days-long delay in the reporting of results.

“I hear their computers are messed up, just like they were in Iowa,” Trump said, referencing the upcoming Democratic caucuses in Nevada. The state party has said it does not anticipate any disruptions and it is not using the app at the center of the Iowa maelstrom.

The comments are similar to those Trump made ahead of the New Hampshire primary, when he called into question the competency of the Democratic Party as a whole.

“The Democrat Party wants to run your health care, but they can’t even run a caucus in Iowa,” he said at the Feb. 10 rally.

Trump on Friday took shots at a number of individual Democratic presidential candidates and said he appreciated the fact that he will not have to run in a Republican contest in Nevada.

A number of states, including Nevada, have canceled their Republican nominating contests because of what they believe is an inevitability that Trump will win easily. Two GOP challengers have already withdrawn, leaving former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld as the only challenger with any relevant political experience in the race. Weld, who has secured one delegate in the first nominating contests, is not expected to pose a threat to Trump’s candidacy.

“I like ours better, we just take it – We won,” Trump said.

Trump also took a rather xenophobic shot at former Barack Obama.

Trump was talking about medium household income, and compared that of Barack HUSSEIN Obama and himself, Donald JOHN Trump. It’s obvious what Trump is doing here. The original birther, Trump wants to remind everyone that Obama has an “Arab” or “Muslim” middle name. It’s xenophobic and it’s sick.
