Trump Reached New Insanity and Ill-Health at Last Night’s Rally and People are Worried, ‘Staring into the Abyss’

He was worse last night than at any point that I can remember. He is “more comfortable” being Donald Trump, because his polls have been rising and he is bullet-proof post impeachment. He is also clearly deteriorating in health, and everyone but the cult members can see it.

His rally last night demonstrated the stakes of the 2020 election. After seeing Trump joke about being in office another 26 years (it always starts as a joke), complain that everything is falling apart in the world because a South Korean film won best picture, and goading his audience into booing a teenager that might well win the Nobel Peace Prize, all while of course ginning up hatred of immigrants – always hate for someone, almost always “immigrants,” it’s impossible to not see 2020 as our last chance.

But reading about it only takes one so far, you half to see it, something most progressives never do. Sadly, it only takes “seeing” about 15 seconds of it to come away more alarmed than ever. This is who he really is when he’s comfortable, and he’s most comfortable surrounded by people who think he’s god:

That is the president of the United States.

Aaron Ruper, the person who tweeted the above, wrote for Axios:

“We’re staring into the abyss,” tweeted Vox‘s Aaron Rupar, who highlighted many of the bizarre moments from the rally and expressed hope that the clips will give the public “a sense of the stakes of the 2020 election.”

I agree, which is exactly why I am doing the same.

Another quote:

“I don’t want to alarm anyone,” wrote the New Yorker‘s Susan Glasser as she watched the event, “but the president is now reading off ‘poll’ after ‘poll’ at his campaign rally to prove he won the debates in 2016. He is also complaining about Brad Pitt and that a South Korean movie won the Oscars and that he didn’t win TIME ‘Man of the Year.’”

Imagine any other politician, imagine Obama, Bush, McConnell (even), Paul Ryan, Ted Cruz, imagine them complaining about not winning Time “Man of the Year” and you get a sense of this president’s insanity, because this is the only man you can imagine doing it, and somehow most of us have made that “normal.”

Don’t normalize him.

Watch the man in the video above, and realize that he’s running for president of the United States. Forget for a moment that he’s in office, just realize he’s running, and could be elected. Then get to work. Spread these around, and do not be afraid to stand-up, damn it.

Right now, it’s looks far too much like he’s winning.

Peace, y’all
