Donald Trump Jr. Whines that the Media is the Problem … Not His Lazy Father

We have been here before. In fact, we’ve been here before with this exact same person, and he was just as wrong last time as he is this time. Well, he is more wrong this time, because as the disease spreads, anything that makes red people doubt the spread of the disease and reliability of the media, is dangerous. To be sure, we address the politics of the matter here at Flare, but always in an attempt to relay that the situation is much worse, not better, than the White House says.

Don Jr. felt the need again yesterday to go after someone to blame for the troubles with coronavirus, and he prefers to talk-smack to a group that really can’t talk back, not as one, at least. And of course, he is convinced that the media moves markets – the geniuses that hoard all the money in this country rely upon NBC Nightly News and People magazine for their information.

Ah yes, the media is rooting for it to fail, the old trope. If the media is hoping that the country fails, what does that make the media? All say it together; the enemy of the people, the phrase used by dictators and fascists throughout time.

I wonder if Don Jr. has had time to sit down and take note that his father has done far more than the media to ensure that this country suffers through this (we will not fail, we will depose this regime). I wonder if Don Jr. noted yesterday the 3 million unemployment applications filed? Is the media supposed to not report this bad news? Did Don Jr. note that we – the United States – took over as the number one hotspot for coronavirus cases? Was the media supposed to ignore it?

When the United States surpasses highly populated countries like China and India or even Iran, it doesn’t make us a “shithole” country (the remark is only appropriate when used against Trump’s comment), but it sure does make us look piss poor in comparison.

So I guess what Don Jr. is saying is that it is fine to call other nations “shithole” countries, and Trump meant no real harm to the people in saying it (so he claimed), but if someone infers we are now the shithole country, it implies that the person hates America and wants the country to fail.

No, Don Jr. It only means that the person hates the Trumps, in part because Trump is causing the country to fail.
