New York Real Estate Agent Says He’s Not Racist After Being Busted in Disgusting, Racist Online Rant

One real estate agent in Long Island, New York, has been fired after he posted a disgustingly racist rant about the protests over the police killing of George Floyd.

Using a racial slur and holding and holding an “assault-style” rifle, Jared Aversano and threatened looters, Raw Story reports.

Then he said he’d just spent $1300 on the weapon and wants to use it.

“My response to the looting and rioting that’s going on?” he says in the video. “I wish a n*gga would.”

The video, posted to Twitter, has been viewed more than one million times. You can see his creepy nonsense for yourself in the video below.

Aversano has since tried to backtrack, apologizing for his racist remarks. Sort of.

“It was meant to be a private Snapchat,” he said. “I did not intend for it to be racist (Oh, c’mon!) However I do understand that a lot of people took it that way. And I do truly apologize.”

Really? He used the N-word. How is that not racist?

Fortunately, his former employers, REMAX of Ronkonkoma, saw fit to fire him, saying in a statement that the issue was “taken very seriously,” and has fired him, News12 reports.

Aversano didn’t answer phone calls Friday and there was no one at his office Friday. Workers were seen putting up Plexiglas, but wouldn’t say why they were doing that. Who knows what that might portend?

Kudos to the real estate office for firing him. He’s just one of far too many idiots who never think their bad behavior is going to affect them in any way. Well, this time it did.

Dude, don’t let the door hit you in the butt on the way out. Good job REMAX.
