Trump Claims Ignorance on Russian Bounties for U.S. Troops — The Rest of the World Screams ‘Bullsh*t!’

We are already on record reporting that there is likely a 50-50 chance that Trump will have to resign in the next 2-4 weeks. The Russian bounty story is on a level that transcends politics and is so much worse than anything he’s done before, it touches upon his taxes and possible Russian conflicts, including the election.

The story is also exploding at Trump’s weakest point as president (COVID, BLM, Polling, Economy), which might explain why it was leaked now. Though the White House initially denied the story’s truth, the facts have been confirmed by independent news outlets including international news sources and Fox News itself. Trump had to come up with a response.

Their response? They say: “We didn’t know. No one briefed Trump or Pence.”

Trump expects the world to believe that the US Intelligence agencies knew of a program that put American soldier’s lives at risk (and resulted in US deaths) but decided not to tell the president about it. They decided not to tell the person who could order countermeasures taken to protect lives. Of course, the answer is a lie.

A summary of Trump’s tweets are right here, brought to us by Rawstory:

Nobody briefed or told me, @VP Pence, or Chief of Staff @MarkMeadows about the so-called attacks on our troops in Afghanistan by Russians, as reported through an ‘anonymous source’ by the Fake News @nytimes. Everybody is denying it & there have not been many attacks on us,” before adding, “Nobody’s been tougher on Russia than the Trump Administration. With Corrupt Joe Biden & Obama, Russia had a field day, taking over important parts of Ukraine – Where’s Hunter? Probably just another phony Times hit job, just like their failed Russia Hoax. Who is their ‘source’?”

Notice that Trump is not only defending himself but he’s also defending Russia – denying that the story is true, despite being confirmed by multiple sources. (Speaking of sources, notice Trump begging to know the source?).

A real president who hadn’t been told, but now suddenly gets this news, would look at its confirmation and start firing the entire intelligence command chain responsible for him not knowing, and would already be talking about sanctioning Russia. Please notice that it is not what we’re seeing. We are seeing a man doing what Putin would want, denying the story, not confronting Russia, making the media the story.

Have no doubt, should it turn out that Trump DID know, and failed to do anything, he likely will be criminally charged once out of office. This “scandal” is on a level that exceeds anything we’ve seen before, by a factor of ten.

Who do you think is/was a better president?

The blowback by the nation is vicious, as appropriate:

Not doing anything about it.

Yes. If Trump wasn’t told, it fails to explain why Trump is golfing right now instead of operating in crisis mode, burning phones to the Kremlin, firing intelligence officials, and protecting our troops.

The fact is that he almost surely did know. This is disgusting and is the type of thing that truly could bring Trump down. Watch this closely.
