Trump Evangelical Adviser Kenneth Copeland: Vote Correctly And God Will Make You Rich

Prosperity Gospel pastor Kenneth Copeland has a long history of scamming his followers, so why should he be any different now?

He’s convinced them to donate at least $2.5 million so that he could “upgrade” the private jet that he purchased from media mogul Tyler Perry and warned his followers not to stop donating to the church, even if they are out of work.

Now he’s at it again, Right Wing Watch reports in the video below. This time the multimillionaire and Trump evangelical adviser held a “virtual victory campaign” at his Texas-based Eagle Mountain International Church last weekend. Where he claimed God will reward people financially if they vote according to the Bible.

Telling his audience that Christians who vote “according to the leading spirit of God” will be “blessed financially” by the man upstairs, Copeland followed that up by saying:

“This is the mightiest country on the face of the Earth, and it is extremely important that we vote and do it according to the leading spirit of God,” he said. “It’s very vital and very, very important. It’s important to your own financial welfare.”

Of course, he failed to say it’s also important for his “financial welfare,” since much of that funding goes to buying fancy clothes and “upgrading” his private jet.”

But I digress. Copeland continued to drive his message home.

“That ballot is your seed,” he added. “You did what you believe is right, and God will treat you the entire time that that person is in office — whether it’s the governor, or the president, or a senator, or congressman, whomever it is … That ballot is your seed and God will treat you the same and you’ll be blessed financially, and you’ll be blessed in your body, and you can put a smile on your face and say ‘Glory to God.'”

Well, one thing is very clear: all that money coming in will certainly put a smile on Copeland’s face.
