Fox News’ Neil Cavuto Cuts Away From Trump’s Disastrous Speech to Defend Obama’s Economy

If you recall Trump’s inauguration address, it was something out of a Mad Max movie, one in which he talked about “American carnage” and making new allies, leaving old ones, and more. You would have been forgiven for thinking that mushroom clouds were exploding off Baltimore harbor as he spoke and that the Chinese army was camped just west of the Appalachians laying siege to what little was left of the United States. The once-mighty United States was about to fall.  It sort of shocked the people sitting at the inauguration, as people looked around, things looked fairly good, especially when compared to when Barack Obama took office.

Barack Obama came to office during the beginning of the Great Recession, which lasted through the first 2-3 years of Obama’s tenure. We almost lost the auto-industry altogether. Donald Trump, on the other hand, inherited a booming economy, though one would never know it if you ever heard Trump discuss the matter.

Trump went so far today as to be interrupted by Neil Cavuto, on Fox News! Cavuto felt compelled to insert some facts into the “news show.” Indeed, Trump did not inherit an economic “disaster,” far from it:

This could very well be a sign that the Right is abandoning Trump. Trump has been lying from the very beginning, and not just about Obama. But how many times has Fox cut in, mid-speech, to insert some facts against what Trump was saying? Wait until Trump finds out. Twitter won’t be prepared for what’s about to happen. There are not enough 1’s and 0’s on the net.

He can’t go anywhere else would seem to be the most obvious reason.

Some truth appeared in the responses:

Our thoughts exactly.

OH, no, I think you’re going to be seeing more and more daylight. I think the Right knows well that Trump is in a tailspin.

It is coming.

Dogs and cats living together …

We will see.
