Overtly Racist Trump’s First Statement About Kamala Harris is…to Accuse Biden of Having a Racism Issue

Donald Trump revels in his racism. He loves it. He seems to get energized by the thought that he can get away it and that it’s accepted and celebrated by some in his cult. He is the most openly racist president in recent history. Trump’s racism is just one of the reasons why the choice to put Kamala Harris on the ticket was an inspired one.

So how did Trump respond to Biden choosing Harris?

Trump responded by saying that Biden has a racism problem, of course.

According to Mediaite:

On Tuesday night, hours after former Vice President Biden announced his selection of Senator Harris as his running mate, Trump posted a video featuring six audio clips of Biden and one of Harris, set to horror movie trailer effects, over graphics that claimed “Joe Biden has a racism problem.”

The audio clips in question date back to 1973, and right up to his remarks last week about ideological diversity in the Black community. It’s a tiny collection of well-trod ground in which Biden has occasionally spoken clumsily or even offensively about race, like when he joked with radio host Charlamagne Tha God that if you can’t choose between Biden and Trump, “You ain’t black.”

Excuse us, but if one has been in public life for four decades, one will have clips that can be construed as antagonistic to any group one wants to find, especially race. Politics is that way in American life. Marks get left. But that doesn’t erase the fact that Biden was Barack Obama’s vice-president and that one need only review video from last week to find far more concerning “racist statements” made by Donald Trump.

As Mediaite noted:

At a debate that year, Biden was asked about that remark and others, and following his answer, Obama volunteered a defense of Biden on his own. “I’ve worked with Joe Biden, I’ve seen his leadership, I have absolutely no doubt about what is in his heart, and the commitment that he has made with respect to racial equality in this country,” Obama said. “I will provide some testimony, as they say in church, that Joe is on the right side of the issues and is fighting every day for a better America,” Obama added.

It is interesting that Trump even made the attempt to say that Biden has a “race issue.” We all do. We all have race issues in that we can all do better in race relations. But Joe Biden has no political race issues, Donald Trump is the racist and it shouldn’t be forgotten, nor should we get distracted from that fact.
