Trump Threatens ‘Big Price’ On Mueller Team Over Russia Investigation ‘Scam’

On the one hand, it is wonderful to know that Donald Trump is so bothered by the investigation into Russia – with damned good reason – that it sits in his mind like a weed, always sprouting new roots. On the other, it is disgusting that the man has gotten away with it.

The Mueller report was a disappointment in two respects. One, Mueller never investigated Trump’s financial conflicts with Russia, although one cannot put that on Mueller. Rosenstein cut that path off, which made the entire investigation near worthless. Second, the decision to “not make a recommendation” on prosecuting the obstruction claim allowed Barr to skate away by claiming victory even though it was anything but. (Pro-tip, keep that in mind when the election comes.)

But miraculously skating free of the investigation isn’t enough for Trump. He likely knows damned well that there are bombs planted out there in his taxes and at Deutsche Bank, to say nothing about what some foreigners have on him. So he lives his life on the edge of destruction – always has. But he also lives his life in need of revenge. He has told people (See “Unfit” and Branson) that he enjoys destroying people who take a shot at him. So now he wants to destroy Mueller and his investigators. Trump must have his pound of flesh, even as we’re confident there’s much more there and someday it will all come out.

Trump also wants to rewrite history:

In what world was this a “total scam?” The investigation decided not to recommend prosecution and Trump took that to mean he was cleared. An innocent person is thankful to be cleared, especially a president, and would love the investigators. Trump certainly touted “no collusion!” a million times. So he needs to pick, was it a total scam and thus no real investigation, or was it real and found “No collusion!” It’s one or the other, spanky.

Then Trump started threatening, saying a “Big price” will need to be paid:

He isn’t acting like a normal innocent person. He is acting guilty and everyone knows it.

Yeah, unlike the “investigation of the investigators” the Mueller team has had several successful prosecutions, until Trump stepped in to pardon the people who didn’t rat on him, like a good mob boss.

Pick, sporto. Did the investigation find “No Collusion!” or was it a waste of time.

He acts guilty as hell and probably for a reason.
