Trump Wrote off $70K for His Hair During ‘The Apprentice’ and Americans Have Questions

It is now completely understandable why Trump preferred to put the entire country at risk rather than open up his taxes for inspection.

Obviously, the big issue – the one that better damn well be answered if he still wants to run for a 2nd term – is the $400 million in liabilities and just how he plans on paying those loans off within five years, particularly when his government salary is $400,000 a year.

But there are plenty of stupid and humiliating nuggets in those returns, too. One of those golden nuggets is that Trump wrote off $70,000 in expenses to keep that golden mane looking … freshly killed?

As culled out by the Business Insider from the NYT report:

President Donald Trump spent more than $70,000 to style his hair — and wrote it off as a business expense — when he was on “The Apprentice,” The New York Times reported Sunday.

Okay, this is offensive on two levels. For one, look at it! If you pay $70,000 for anything it better look better than that! Second of all, most people in the United States don’t make $70,000 per year in income and yet all of them that do pay more than $750 in income tax.

We know your next question:

The bombshell report included the detail that Trump wrote off haircuts and styling as business expenses and also that nine Trump entities paid nearly $100,000 to Trump’s daughter Ivanka’s hair and makeup artist.

It is not less offensive, but at least she looks like she spends a ton of money on her hair and makeup. Perhaps Ivanka can’t relate to normal people, in part, because she spends more money on her hair and makeup than the average chemistry teacher with 25 years of experience makes in a year.

These people deserve every little bit of scorn they’re about to get. We’re happy to help.
