Mike Pompeo Tells Fox News He Has Hillary’s Emails and Will Release Before the Election (It’s 2020 BTW)

Sweet baby Jesus it just never ends.

Does anyone ever get the feeling that the modern Republican party is like an old rock band like “Loverboy” – one that had like 3-4 hits, total, during about the same 2 year period, and they’ve attempted to live a life off those 3-4 hits for the last several decades?

The Republicans appear to be following that model more and more lately. They only have two or three great hits! Hillary’s emailzzzz, Obama’s treason, Where’s Hunter and maybe the new single, more of a b-side, Biden Dementia. These are not only the Republicans “greatest hits,” they’re indeed the “only hits” because they have quit looking for new material.

It is so bad that Mike Pompeo seems to have forgotten who is on the ballot against Trump in just 25 days. Pompeo just announced that he got his hands on some Hillary emails and will release them prior to the election. He didn’t say “which emails” (for all we know, some were wishing her daughter a happy birthday), nor why this matters to anyone right now, but he’s got ’em and we’re gonna see them:

The twitter responses were very much worth putting up with the sick news. We know what is happening here, they are simply trying to overcome Trump fatigue with Democratic hatred. When that’s one’s best election strategy, it’s a bad sign.

Hey, it won last time! Why not stick with a winner!

There is a darker possibility here. Notice that Pompeo goes out of his way to say that there is classified information in the emails. This could easily be a shot over the bow in terms of warning the Democrats about possible future prosecutions of Republicans from the Trump administration.

If the DOJ filed charges before Biden was sworn in, it would be normal DOJ policy to follow-up on those charges and still “prosecute” her. They’ll never win and get a guilty verdict but that’s not the point. The point is to put her through hell, and put everyone else on notice that they’ll do the same to other Democrats who threaten to prosecute the Republicans from this administration, Republicans like Mike Pompeo, who fired an I.G. who was about to put out a report on Pompeo going around congress on an arms sale to Saudi Arabia.

This is a problem.
