[UPDATED] Trump Insider Insists the Trumps Use Melania Body-Doubles: You Be the Judge

UPDATE: We have been contacted by USA Today’s Fact-checking arm who questioned us about this story. We want to make it clear we were reporting on an internet rumor, as many other outlets did. We also want to be clear that both Donald and Melania Trump have stated in the past that the First Lady does not use body doubles.

It is not news to report on rumors … usually, until the rumors themselves become the news the way they are this morning.

This is about a rumor that has been going around for a long time, or at least we’ve known of it a long time and never reported on it. It has been backed up by a Trump insider (Noel Casler who worked for the family for six years on The Apprentice and has never been sued or even addressed, also used as a source by People Magazine), and we are now finally reporting on the rumor because this sighting appears to coincide with the COVID scare in which Melania was supposed to have COVID herself.

Now we have no evidence at all that Melania uses body doubles. We are reporting on a rumor that is taking over Twitter this morning and, to be honest, it does seem like there’s a legitimate reason. The woman in the picture does not look like Melania Trump, not the one we know and loathe.

The date on the tweet is October 24, 2020 – which, we do need to point out, doesn’t necessarily mean that the picture was taken yesterday on October 24th. But … that doesn’t look like Melania.

Moreover, they are holding hands and if there’s one thing we know about the real Melania, she loathes to hold Trump’s hand. She seemed to bat it away after making an ass of himself at the debate, so we’re thinking that hand-holding is more a stand-in thing. If you’re getting paid, you gotta go all the way – at least that’s always been Trump’s attitude, right?

Another clue? Melania never smiles – ever. The picture below appears to possibly be taken on a different day, or at least a different outfit (perhaps change on the plane for different climates?) because Melania seems to be wearing a completely different outfit, even under the coat.

Okay – that is what convinced us that something was off. Melania almost never smiles, and when she does it almost always looks forced – that one seems genuine and thus genuinely weird. We need some more opinions here:

Now, again, we have no facts on this – none – and yet that does sound like the Mel we report upon. Melania made the country wait upon HER to move into the White House, snarling Mid-Town Manhattan traffic more than usual and tripling her Secret Service detail costs.  HE isn’t the type to go lay wreaths, why the hell would SHE want to have to go? The tapes from Wolkoff do emphasize how Melania can’t even be bothered to care about Christmas decorations – which sounds fun even to this dumbass guy. Hurricane damage seems to be a little bit more believable as a Melania thing because she’s a drama queen. However, it’s tough to wear heels while touring hurricane damage.

We also reported last week that Melania – who had not been going on the road for campaign appearances (she did the primetime speech at the convention but isn’t going to Green Bay), was going to accompany Trump on a trip because they needed her.

Here is some disagreement to chew upon:

It is true that Melania has extremely distinct eyes – or at least the 2020 version of Melania does because when you see pictures of her when she was younger and had “normal eyes” she was so much prettier, and it had nothing to do with age. Many women are more beautiful in their late 40s and 50s than in their 20s and Melania might have been one had she not had so many knives taken to her face so often. It would seem she’s had more plastic surgery than Jared, and that’s hard to do.

Regardless, Twitter is in flames this morning over whether Melania has been using a body double. We likely will not know for sure until after the Trump presidency, so – ideally, next January. If they do use a body double they better pay extremely well because absorbing that much loathing, even from afar, has to be hard on the soul. If a woman sells her body? Well, we’ve always said that was far more honest work than anything Trump did. Selling one’s soul is far different. We are still not going to judge, but it would be much harder, in our mind, to clothe oneself as “Melania” and travel around America, than it would be to “disrobe” as whomever and be yourself.
