Don Jr. is Reportedly in Denial Over Father’s Loss, ‘He Doesn’t Want the Ride to End’

Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, are reportedly unhappy with the leadership at the Republican National Committee after the presidential election loss of Donald Trump.

Republican sources who spoke on the condition of anonymity to CNN said the two are looking to possibly make a bid themselves for the chair if Trump runs in 2024.

“Don Jr. and Kimberly have an eye on the RNC, through themselves taking over or somebody close to them taking over,” one source said.

Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son, and Guilfoyle, a prominent fundraiser for the Trump campaign and a reported lap dancer, are apparently displeased with Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, niece of Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, whom sources said they blame for not doing enough to help Trump win. Mind you, McDaniel used to go by Ronna Romney McDaniel, and she dropped the Romney after Trump complained because he didn’t want to be reminded of Mitt Romney.

Trump Jr., however, denied the CNN report that he is looking to take over the GOP party. His associate, Andrew Surabian, echoed the rejection, calling the claim “100% incorrect.” Guilfoyle has not commented on the matter.

One Trump adviser said the two are in denial after major networks reported Joe Biden as the election’s apparent winner.

“They don’t want the ride to end,” the adviser said.

Other names that have come to light about possibly taking over the RNC include ex-White House chief of staff Reince Priebus and Ohio GOP Party Chairwoman Jane Timken.

Other GOP insiders said giving the Trumps a role in the party’s official organization would be better than purging the first family completely, given the Trumps’ extensive base and strong influence over the party in the past four years.

“In order for Republicans to move forward, they may have to do this,” one of the sources said.
