Election 2020
Don Jr. Tweets Electoral Map Showing Canada Going Republican and Everyone is Confused
There’s plenty of information that suggests Donald Trump Jr. isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, but let’s be honest, neither is his father. But Junior seems to also have some, well, interesting ideas about geography and the presidential election at the same time, according to BuzzFeedNews.
I’m saying this because, on Twitter, he shared a map that seemed to claim many other countries, including India, China, Mexico, and even Antarctica, have seats in the Electoral College.
Okay, finally got around to making my electoral map prediction. #2020Election #VOTE pic.twitter.com/STmDSuQTMb

I don’t know if he’s joking here, but if not, this is a level of stupid I’ve not seen before.

Understandably, other Twitter users are also trying to figure this out.
so if I understand this map correctly, and that's a big if, California, Mexico, New York, Cuba, Liberia, India (minus Kashmir), India, Sri Lanka, and China… are Democrat now? pic.twitter.com/6pHmv3oFft

I'd like to think it's the LIBERiA(L) thing.
Other issues:
-South Sudan isn't on it
-Croatia is left blank (Melania is from neighbor Slovenia)
-the Black Sea is shaded red
-Sri Lanka isn't part of India
-Cuba isn't the only communist country
-it gives ALL of Kashmir to Pakistan..— jmandinho ☮ (@_Marandinho) November 3, 2020
Others couldn’t resist poking fun at it.
The voting line in Antarctica right now. https://t.co/hciBkIV8OV pic.twitter.com/Tgw2tM5XmJ

Some folks in India were offended because the map portrays Jammu and Kashmir as part of Pakistan, a neighboring country that India does not particularly love, mainly because Pakistan keeps stepping on India’s toes regarding this region. The map also mistakenly connects Sri Lanka, an island nation, to India. Because accuracy isn’t a strong point for Junior.
So much for the friendship with Trump Senior. Junior has placed India firmly with @JoeBiden & @KamalaHarris though interestingly Jr. believes J&K & the NorthEast go against the rest of India & will vote Trump. Someone needs to take his colouring pencils away. https://t.co/AqVyX4ixdl

India without Jammu & Kashmir! 🤦♂️
Trump Junior needs Geography lessons to begin with! Is this really how Trump wants the Election Day to begin? Not surprised though! https://t.co/T5EflZphXV— Aditya Raj Kaul (@AdityaRajKaul) November 3, 2020
Not content to just mess up countries in the South Pacific, Junior’s map also completely fills in the Black Sea.
LOL. Don even colored in the Black Sea, apparently thinking it's a physical country. https://t.co/Owm26Lljvr

Is anyone really surprised that Trump Jr. picked up this aberration of geographical cartography from 4Chan, land of racist fools? And what does it say about Jr. that he’s perusing 4Chan?
I know you'll all be shocked to learn that Don Jr snaked his map from an alt-right 4chan orc pic.twitter.com/OGSRfLWWlF

More than a few Australians were also offended by this ridiculous map.
Leave Australia out of this, we actually have decent healthcare

One Twitter user couldn’t resist poking fun at Junior’s alleged coke habit.
Well done Junior for colouring within the lines. Speaking of lines – keep them out of your nose.

It’s totally fascinating to me that Trump Jr. posted this map without even questioning it. Apparently, no part of him said, “um wait…some of this doesn’t look right.” He just ran with it.
And you know what? His father probably isn’t any smarter.
