Minnesota Trump Supporter Attacked Elderly Couple With a Golf Club Over Their Handmade Biden Sign

A Trump supporter in Minnesota is accused of attacking an elderly with a golf club after spotting them on a street corner with a homemade Biden sign, The Daily Mail reports.

The alleged attack occurred just one day after numerous television networks announced Joe Biden had defeated President Donald Trump in the contentious presidential election. People began calling 911 after seeing a man attacking the couple in White Bear Lake on the intersection of highway 96 and Centerville Road. He then drove away, according to a criminal complaint filed in Ramsey County District Court Tuesday.

Mark Anthony Ulsaker, 50 has been charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, making threats of violence, and assaulting a peace officer, according to court documents. Witnesses recorded the vehicle’s license plate number and police went to his home.

The complaint notes Ulsaker resisted arrest and allegedly tried to hit an officer. When that happened he was Tasered and taken into custody. The officer involved reportedly received an injured thumb as part of the scuffle.

It’s reported that the couple told officers that they were merely sitting on the street corner with their sign when a man pulled up in a red truck and shouted ‘f*** you!”

The woman, 78, and the man, 80, ignored the comment but seconds later, the man, carrying a golf club, approached the elderly couple, WCCO-TV reports.

During a police interview, Ulsaker revealed he is a Trump supporter and said he became upset when he saw the couple holding the Biden sign. He also admitted kicking the sign over and swinging his golf club at the couple, the police report noted, adding that his golf club broke when it struck the chair the woman was sitting in and he then pushed her over.

At that point, the elderly man came towards Ulsaker, who punched him in the head, per the report. Witnesses told police that at this point, the man headed to his truck, which was parked at a Walgreen’s nearby. Then the woman gave chase but abandoned that when the truck drove towards her, hopping the curb before speeding off down the road.

According to WCCO, Ulsaker has admitted he did this in an attempt to frighten the woman but said he had no intention of running her over. He also allegedly confessed he “swung a little” at the arresting officer.

This ridiculous kerfuffle may cost him dearly. He faces up to 15 years in prison if he’s convicted of all of the counts against him. A hearing has been scheduled for November 23.

Isn’t this just like a Trump supporter? Seems like some of these people will stop at nothing to support their idol. We’re in the last days of this man’s presidency, so let’s hope these people, and the mayhem they create will soon be gone.
