The Most Dangerous Moment of 2020 Just Arrived: Trump Family Asking Legislators to Ignore Voters

Those of us that have followed this closely always knew that this was the plan of last resort, when the vote didn’t work, when courts wouldn’t work, there would be another plan – and it’s the most dangerous plan of all because there is nothing at all from stopping them. They could actually, legally, do it – and get away with it. It would be 100% legal, and Donald Trump would be president sworn in on January 20 of 2021.

People who have followed us closely know the plan.

We all know that the electoral college are the people who actually elect the president. What most people do not know is that it is not necessarily the vote of the people who send that state’s electors to the electoral college. Indeed, under the constitution, it is the legislature of that state which determines which electors are sent. Until Trump, it never occurred to anyone to assert that a legislature should ignore the vote in the state and send their own electors, it took Trump – who isn’t into democracy.

This is why – in part – so much disinformation is being thrown out there by the Trump family. They want “scandal” to be the word of the day, that somehow this election was “stolen” from Donald Trump and thus it is the duty of the legislators to “stop the steal.” It is the DUTY of each of these legislators to ensure that this election isn’t “stolen” from Donald Trump.

And the worst part? It would only take 2-3 states – all Republican controlled legislatures (by a lot). If Pennsylvania did it, Michigan, and Wisconsin did it, it wouldn’t matter what happened in Nevada, Arizona, and Georgia – Trump would be president. All it would take is a decision on behalf of the legislators in these states to do it and it could happen. It would be legal.

Now read this and get shivers down your spine:

And there goes your democracy, America. The president’s son retweeted that.

It is just that simple.

Sorry to scare you, but that is the situation we face, literally. And it would be 100% legal. Just 100% wrong.
