Trump’s Claims of Fraud Backfire BIG TIME on Georgia Senate Races When Voter Asks ‘Why Vote If It’s All Rigged?’

Donald Trump has been screaming “Rigged!” since even before the election in which he lost. His claims that “the only way I can lose is if the elections are rigged,” cast doubt on the outcome and decreased his followers’ confidence in their vote. Trump’s claims have gone so far into the “ridiculous” phase that even those close to him have been telling him it’s time to move on.

But the RNC is in a real pickle. They desperately need to control the senate. This is the most critical situation they’ll face for likely four years. They need to win two races in Georgia. But they cannot infuriate Trump by dumping their support of the lawsuits and claims that everything in Georgia was rigged against him. The RNC needs Trump’s voters desperately. They created a monster they no longer control. Donald Trump IS the Republican party, except he doesn’t give a shit about the senate races in Georgia. He only cares about whether he wins – and that requires a claim that everything is rigged.

Claiming everything is rigged can result in Republican voters just staying home. According to Mediaite:

Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel scrambled to tamp down concern over false claims of election rigging when a voter asked her why people should participate in the Georgia runoff if the election is “already decided?”

President Donald Trump’s months-long campaign to undermine confidence in election results has escalated in the weeks since Election Day — and his defeat at the hands of President-elect Joe Biden — and appears to have been effective at convincing at least one Georgia Republican that voting in the hotly-contested Jan. 5 Georgia runoff would be futile.

Ouch! And if she’s asked by one voter, it’s likely indicative of a concern held by many. That’s a problem, so Ronna had to sorta admit that elections are real and matter:

“How are we going to miss money and work when it’s already decided?” a woman asks, as McDaniel exclaims “It’s not decided, this is the key. It’s not decided!

So elections do matter and votes are needed because the elections might not be needed? Or everything is rigged? Ask Donald Trump, who is their leader, and it’s all rigged. Who cares about senate elections? Their leader doesn’t.

This is the RNC’s problem and they helped create it.
