Ivanka Considering a Memoir Where She Could Finally Address Her Long-Rumored Feud With Melania Trump

Another book by Ivanka Trump may be in the works, and this time it looks like she might be detailing her time in the White House and it’s likely she’ll touch on her role within the administration of her father, President Donald Trump, her relationship with her dad, and her sometimes stormy relationship with her stepmother, Melania Trump.

Ivanka Trump has written two books previously — The Trump Card and Women Who Work, and according to one source, she’s eager to make her voice heard regarding situations she hasn’t written on before, including the oft-rumored bad blood between her and her stepmother, Yahoo! and Page Six report.

Having bought a plot of land in the gated community of Indian Creek Island, in Miami, Florida, Ivanka is purportedly figuring out her next career moves, and writing on her time in the White House may help her establish a platform that could give her a running start.

“She has been keeping extensive notes on her time in the White House,” the source told Page Six. “Ivanka has been known to correct friends who mistakenly thought she only worked in the East Wing. She wants to set the record straight on a long list of issues, including confronting her critics head-on.”

So what issues does Ivanka want to address, per the source?

One of the biggest may be first and foremost — “the constant rumors she was being marginalized by her dad” and “the supposed tension with [stepmother] Melania.” Also likely on the horizon: She wants to focus on “the very important things she got done with women’s issues, family leave, and more.”

Neither First Lady nor First Daughter has openly discussed their possible feud but a 2020 book written by Melania Trump’s former aide Stephanie Winston Wolkoff tossed sparks into that fire by highlighting recorded conversations where Melania can be heard complaining about her stepdaughter. People have continually speculated that Ivanka is given preferential treatment over Melania by Donald Trump, and some say the tension stems from Ivanka’s attempts to downplay Melania’s influence in the White House and within the family.

Ivanka has also apparently acted against her stepsister, Tiffany Trump, by discouraging dad Donald Trump from helping her to gain an internship at an influential fashion magazine.

But another source who’s close to Ivanka said the book isn’t a certainty.

“Yes, she has been approached regarding a book. It’s one of the number of options available to her, but it’s nowhere near top of mind or imminent,” the source said. “Certainly no outlines or proposals. She’s hyper-focused on her family, and the work she’s doing at the White House.”

One thing is certain, however: Ivanka and her infamous family will soon be out of the spotlight. And that will be a lovely change.
