Kayleigh McEnany Outrageously and Dangerously Says Trump Can Just Use ‘Alternate Electors’ When House and Senate Meet

We cannot stress this enough. The only steps left in order to put Joe Biden on those Capitol steps on January 2oth are largely symbolic actions in the House and the Senate in which they adopt the Electoral College votes. In 2016, despite the fact that there was already evidence out that the Russians had influenced the election on Donald Trump’s behalf, it was Joe Biden himself, presiding over the Senate, who gavelled down Democratic Senators that wanted to at least debate how to go forward by continually hitting the gavel, saying “there will be no debate.”

It is not something that the Senate deliberates upon, nor examines, at least it sure hasn’t been until Donald Trump came along. But Kayleigh McEnany shifted hats last night from her real job to campaign spokesperson to go on Hannity, one of the most-watched shows on cable television, to talk about all the “litigation ongoing” where Kayleigh says there’s another case in Arizona (what?) and appeals left in Nevada …

And then she says that the Congress can use the “alternate electors” that were appointed in some basement or across the hall to “vote” (we guess)  Trump back into office because “this president is a fighter.” The “alternate electors” do not have the official backing of the state, they are just regular people in a basement holding their own little vote without going through the proper procedure or having the state’s endorsement. Moreover, Kayleigh is sure to remind Hannity’s audience that these votes for Biden all come from “big cities,” which is a wink and nod to all the MAGA heads. The wrong people voted and thus their votes are really not legitimate.

This is so dangerous, especially when combined with people like Mike Flynn who said that Trump had military “capabilities” left to force a second vote in the four states he lost and Peter Navarro saying that Biden will be an “illegal” president.
