Michael Flynn Laughably Tells Judge Jeanine That Former President Obama is ‘Afraid of Him’

"I must've put the fear of God into Barack Obama...and I still do"

Michael Flynn was just one minute away from being sentenced. Literally. According to the transcripts, he stood in front of the judge and said that he was ready. The judge, upon hearing that Flynn might not be done helping the federal government in their investigation of Trump, asked Flynn is he was absolutely certain he wanted to go through with sentencing that day and strongly implied that it might help Flynn if he had other stuff to help the investigation of Trump down the road. The judge also made it as clear as he could as a judge, which isn’t all that much, that Flynn might well be heading to jail if he plead guilty.

After two or three rounds of this back and forth, Flynn and his attorneys figured out that the judge was telling them that they’d be far better off presenting even more evidence of cooperation. They decided they’d wait for sentencing. The judge gave Flynn a far better shot than most people get.

Flynn didn’t show any gratitude. He switched lawyers and his new team started crying that Flynn was the biggest victim of all. This victim needed a pardon to ensure that Flynn – who sat next to Putin and had to know shit – would never need to testify against Trump.

Now that Flynn is passed all that, he’s feeling cocky, aggressive, and more than a bit insane. His claims have gotten increasingly bizarre, including a call for a coup. Now Flynn’s telling people that President Obama is afraid of him:

Speaking on Fox News to Jeanine Pirro on Saturday night, in his first television interviews since receiving a presidential pardon from President Trump, Flynn, 61, would not reveal what it was exactly Obama warned Trump about.

‘I must have put the fear of God into Barack Obama and still do because of this long four-year saga they put me through, and frankly the entire country. One of these days I will lay it out. But it’s pretty amazing for the transition in the United States of America from one president to another,’ …

‘They knew those were the types of things I was aware of. Let’s face it. Barack Obama appointed me twice. I was Senate confirmed twice during the time I was in the military. So it’s amazing that would be what he would focus on during the transition for the United States of America. It’s outrageous, actually.’

Yeah. Obama wanted to focus on the guy that called the Russian ambassador to play ball and had been the one to have dinner with Putin and all that. Outrageous that Obama would focus on the one thing he could control, a little advice to Trump. Obama tried to spare Trump some pain that Obama knew was coming.

Oh, and Obama had fired Flynn.

Trump didn’t care.
