The Proud Boys are closer and closer to becoming the face of the GOP and it’s not only an unprincipled face, a cultist face, a violent face, but a face that seems destined to violently take a piece of America down with it, and not just the GOP. Unlike Antifa, the Proud Boys are a real organization, one with a leader, some kind of structure, almost a sub-party – though hardly political, all emotional – almost like the S.S. arm of what’s left of the “Grand Old Party,” now the Trump party. This is quite literally what it’s been reduced to.

As most know, everything MAGA descended upon Washington DC today in protest of that “stolen election,” the one that wasn’t even close and really only stolen by people voting that they were tired of the irresponsible baby in the White Hosue.

The votes against a man whose only political doctrine is advancing his own personal needs. They voted against a man who destroyed as many of the country’s civic norms as necessary to get what he wanted, including some previously unthinkable: firing an FBI director for looking into possible crimes involving him, withholding international relief until granted a favor to help with political propaganda, and pardoning friends that might have otherwise squealed on him.

He was voted out.

But no one votes out the Proud Boys candidate – the white man’s candidate, as the Proud Boys only admit white men – without the Proud Boys’ permission, or just like their leader, they’ll punish that nation because it should know better.

We always knew that this transition wouldn’t be peaceful. Trump purposefully withheld any promise about it. He knew he’d use any pressure required and he knew that if he lost he would need to punish that people that humiliated him – Americans, but not Proud Boy type.

We will start with the mere humiliating:

Antifa is an idea, a philosophy far more than an organization. It has no leader, no real structure. It stands for anti-fascist, and thus follows some of the best traditions in this nation’s history, fighting for democracy, against lawless fascism, which pits them against Trump.

And now we transition to the more dangerous, and this is just the first night, and rather early in the first night. The Electoral College hasn’t voted yet:

That group looks like it wants to get violent. That group looks like it knows that it can count on the police to lay back and not get too aggressive. That group looks like it owns the streets.

This will continue to get scarier and scarier. We are entering a dark period.
