Trump Releases Delusional Post-Election Ads Claiming He Won and Pushing for Biden Win to Be Overturned
My God.
This isn’t funny or cute anymore. It’s pathetic, and it’s slowing breaking up our country.
Donald Trump’s campaign plans to buy ads on unspecified cable television networks to promote his effort to overturn the election he lost, boosting claims that have been refuted by elections officials and dismissed by judges across the country.
One commercial claims that mail-in ballots were “a recipe for fraud” and urges viewers to “contact your legislators today.” Trump has sought to persuade Republican state lawmakers in several battleground states to override voters and award him their states’ Electoral College votes.
The Trump campaign ad attempts a victory lap of sorts, touting that he got more votes than Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Bill Clinton. Ok, that’s fine, but the ad is omitting some rather important facts.

Of course, Biden got more votes than Trump, which is the most important metric on who won the election. But curiously, Trump’s ad fails to mention that.
The ad tries to claim that the gains Trump made suggested a “landslide victory” but it was thwarted because of all the voter fraud.
“The American people deserve to know the truth. Demand an honest election and an honest count,” the ad says, concluding with a call for people to call their legislators.

I am posting the ad from Trump’s Twitter. YouTube took down the video for being false.
Then there is this 30-second spot, which palpitates with the urgency of a police procedural.
“America deserved a honest election, and this is what they got,” asserts a female narrator, a prelude to a cavalcade of alleged subversions of democracy such as purported “suitcases of ballots” in the Peach State, dead people voting in Wisconsin, and cash for vote schemes in Nevada.
“The evidence is overwhelming,” asserts the urgent call-to-action beseeching the Trump faithful to “demand legislators fight for honest elections.”

People on Twitter were rightfully disgusted:
LOL.
Not even close. You didn't even give yourself the one Elector you won in Maine.
I mean, seriously, how pucking incompetent and lazy are your video people that they can't spend 3 minutes on 270towin and make an accurate map? pic.twitter.com/o4NMLjspCt
