The Trump-loving rioters who rampaged through the Capitol building Wednesday weren’t content to just smash windows, fight police officers and vandalize lawmakers’ offices. They also left other unpleasant calling cards, in the form of feces that were “tracked” through numerous hallways, The New York Daily News reports.

One source who’s close with Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said staffers found out about the defecation duplicity Thursday. The insurgents, whose attack on the historic building cost five people their lives, apparently gathered in a bathroom, defecated, and then smeared excrement all over the building, leaving behind brown “footprints,” the source said, noting “it looked like they tracked it around.”

Of course, they were spurred on by Trump, who told them “We love you.” Because of course, he does. He’s the star of their show and they give him the attention he craves. This unhinged behavior is the main reason Schumer and dozens of his fellow Democrats and a few Republicans are calling for impeachment or for the invocation of the 25th Amendment so that this dangerously volatile man can be removed.

So the poop problem isn’t the only situation Schumer is dealing with.

“Schumer is dealing with proverbial s–t — not this kind,” the source said.

It’s ironic that this presidency is ending with actual s–t as opposed to the way it began and the way it’s been throughout Trump’s tenure — with him spewing s–t pretty much every day. His presidency has been an espectáculo de mierda from the get-go.

I’m just calling it as I see it.

The headline belies the larger meaning.

They claimed to be "patriots" using "free speech."

Then they LITERALLY defecated on American Democracy.

I cannot stress this enough, Trump supporters stormed the Capitol and smeared poop on walls because states made it easier for their citizens to vote during a pandemic.
