Kansas Senator Says MAGAs are Refusing to Get Vaccinated Because They’re MAD About the Masks

During a Thursday hearing, Kansas Senator Roger Marshall (MAGA) had a weird but – actually, fairly solid – explanation as to why many MAGAs are refusing to be vaccinated. The MAGAs finally have the means to take their anger out on being asked to wear masks for like, most of their lives. We genuinely wish this was an article from The Onion. Impossible as that may seem, it is not.

Is there a way to make this story worse?

Of course, there is. Roger Marshall is a doctor. Thus it was that doctor to doctor, Sen. Marshall made his comment to Dr. Fauci:

“President Biden recently said that we should all wear masks until everyone is vaccinated — that’s probably the worst thing that could have been said for compliance.”

Evil President Biden wanted people to be sick, some die, because he’s that evil? Marshall wasn’t done, though he should have been:

“So many people have said, ‘Why would I go get a vaccine when the President says we have to keep wearing masks until everyone’s vaccinated?”

At which point, Dr. Fauci took out a handgun pointed it at his … no, that’s not correct, nor funny. But neither is what Marshall said. The proper comeback from Dr. Fauci might have been; “You are correct, Senator. It probably was the worst thing he could have said for compliance. Once again, President Biden made the mistake of believing that most Americans think and behave like adults. In thinking upon it further, we’re just thankful that President Biden did not require people to wear clothes, so that people wouldn’t notice the masks that much more.”

It is incredibly important to us at this site that everyone remembers, this is not a lame attempt to copy The Onion:
