Nikki Haley Just Shamed Herself So Powerfully She Trends at Number One on Twitter

Never, has anyone gone further with less than Nikki Haley. (With the possible exception of Josh Hawley, who is a category all his own). We recall the days way back yonder when Nikki was considered the moderate future of the GOP. The “moderate” thing was nothing more than a decent marketing campaign. She was one of the very few women in the GOP, she is very pretty which is very important in Republican circles, and she is of mixed heritage. Of course, she was a moderate, everyone thought. She was the future. Look at her.

Yes, let’s look at her.

Let’s look at how quickly she went full MAGA the moment she sensed that some power might come her way if she just pledged allegiance to Trump. She refused to criticize some of Trump’s worst behaviors in the hope of replacing Pence on the ticket. Anyone who had ever seen Nikki as anything more than a lightweight with heavy aspirations felt particularly gullible.

Then came the riot and insurrection. We will never know the exact figures, but probably somewhere between 80-90% of the country turned against Trump that day (this was prior to the masterful whitewash). Nimble Nikki wasn’t about to get caught on the wrong side of that 80-90% and let everyone know whether she stood.

We need to acknowledge he let us down. He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.”

That’s Nikki, January 6th, 2021.

But a funny thing happened. Since the impeachment and all that, the MAGAs have done a phenomenal job whitewashing the entire thing. It was just a protest, maybe it got a little out of hand. (This is from their point of view) And certainly not something to be held against Trump. The MAGAs have returned. Hell, even the Republicans in the Senate, the ones who voted “on a technicality” on the impeachment but expressed outrage, even they have come back. And thus so has Nikki:

There you go. That’s Nikki Haley, lightweight, feather in the wind, seeking power to the end, desperately wanting to be put on the ticket as VP. Disgusting.
