People Want CNN to Fire Rick Santorum After His Disgusting Comments About Native Americans
Rumor is that Rick Santorum has the… is the biggest d*ck commenting on politics these days. There is almost no group that he’s not willing to dismiss in the name of straight, white, Catholic/Christian, males, including – not surprisingly, women. Santorum gained notoriety by being so anti-gay that if one googles him… never mind. Some who have come under his hateful self have thrown some hatred back at Santorum.
This time, Santorum’s targeted a group with almost too few members left able to respond. We are not sure the context in which Santorum was speaking, but it almost doesn’t matter given his statements. Santorum was “bragging” about this country’s rise from what, apparently, Santorum believes to be nothing. Yes, this country arose out of nothing. He then realizes his mistake and then acknowledges that, yes, there were people here, but according to Rick, Native Americans had so little culture that American culture mowed it right on down.
Jaw drop.
This is quite a statement coming from the world’s whitest man, rich in what Americans call WASP culture (except he’s Catholic). Other than golf, sexually reluctant wives, and polo shirts, WASPs might be the most culturally wanting group on earth. This is especially true when one makes a comparison to Native Americans, which had far beyond “one” culture, extending to almost countless cultures. From the tobacco growing East Coast, rich in jewels and beads, furs and forestry and the use of rivers as trading routes. To the Southwest and the wind talker, nature-worshipping, canyon dwelling, Apache and Navajo. To the Northwest, with probably the wealthiest tribes in North America, with the smoked salmon, totem-poles, a log houses.

A lot of it is and was retained but it’s tough to retain a culture from people that have largely been exterminated.
Of course, Rick is not from Mexico, which is probably the best example in the Western Hemisphere of a country that integrated some European culture with the Native culture of Mexico. We are aware of the exterminations that occurred in Mexico, too. And yet Europe would still have unaware of corn, tomato, and floutas without Native Mexican culture.
But here’s Rick, rumored to be the biggest d*ck in politics:
CNN's Rick Santorum: "We birthed a nation from nothing. I mean, there was nothing here. I mean, yes we have Native Americans but candidly there isn't much Native American culture in American culture" pic.twitter.com/EMxOEYDbg7

Exactly. That will happen when one culture makes it a cultural norm to extinguish another and then does its best to ignore the rich culture that existed here. And even with all that, plenty remains. Now, Rick, go back to golfing in a polo hoping that your wife’s still awake when you get home. You will have covered all the bases.
People are furious and want CNN to fire him:
Yeah, this is really racist, and @CNN continuing to employ him is really infuriating. https://t.co/r2uwmqS3YB

Raise your hand if you agree Rick Santorum should be fired by CNN.

Why does CNN continue to employ vapid, racist clods like Rick Santorum? Consequence culture needs to start yielding serious consequences for this. https://t.co/AW7fQf7SJG
