Yes, it feels a bit like a cheap shot every time we write an article highlighting Marjorie Taylor-Greene’s stupidity. But as we do, we want our readers to remember that when she ran in the Georgia-1 Republican primary, her Qanon beliefs were already well known, as were all her other troubles. Her opponent was every bit as conservative as Marj, but also happened to be a neurosurgeon and had a little less “Q” in him. The voters of northwest Georgia got what they paid for, a congresswoman so dangerous and insane that even the Republicans won’t let her serve on committees. Matt Gaetz still serves on committees, Paul Gosar still serves, even Lauren Q-bert, but not Marjorie Taylor-Greene.

Getting back to what MTG did to earn attention today, Marj went on Steven Bannon’s podcast. Obviously, she has plenty of time on her hands. She proceeded to tell Bannon about this country’s problems. She started with normal MAGA milk:

“Small Businesses are failing. Our border is being invaded. We have, you know, we’re sending all this money overseas for more people to invade us.”

Who is invading us? And, not to make too fine a point on it, if she wants to see “sending all this money,” she should take a look at what we spend to ensure we can invade whomever we damned well please. All of us favor a strong military and certainly giving our troops the equipment they need, but not all of us think that we need this strong a military, such that we need to spend a trillion dollars annually, especially when there are other issues to fight and…

Oh, Marj was just about to get to those other important issues we must fight, so we’ll let her keep going. Having distributed MAGA milk, she delivered the MAGA honey:

We need to care about the real issues that matter. We need to stop the masks, stop the vaccines and stop COVID-19 from controlling our lives.”

Wait, wut?

Why did her hero spend the entirety of last year telling us that his greatness alone was bringing us vaccines – the glorious “Trump vaccine” as Kayleigh once shamelessly called it – and it would defeat COVID?? Why did Trump spend all that time if it is such a horrific thing? This country must “stop the vaccines” – that is the key to keeping COVID from controlling our lives? Does Marj know what vaccines do? Does Marj know Trump got the vaccine (and COVID! a twofer). A better question, since Marj made a video of her “vaccine” (her workout), would she like to go back 200 years, prior to vaccines? When people’s immune systems failed and they died all naturally? (“Owned, Biden!”) Actually, with respect to COVID, she need only go back one year.

We apologize. It is not funny, not at all. The alternative is crying, which is what almost 600,000 American families have done upon losing a loved one, a person who either never had a chance to get the vaccine, or was manipulated by people like Marj and refused it. Of course, the irony is that if everyone got vaccinated, we could stop wearing masks and thus stop COVID-19 from controlling our lives.

They could have voted in a neurosurgeon. We suspect he would be quite supportive of the vaccine and we know that he doesn’t have a problem with masks. If Marj ever has surgery, is she going to demand that everyone remove their masks, first? So many questions.
