Obama Told Donors that Trump Was a ‘Corrupt Motherf***er,’ a ‘Racist Sexist Pig,’ and a ‘F**king Lunatic’

So this happened.

According to The Guardian, Obama made some extra-honest remarks that are found in a book by Edward-Isaac Dovere entitled Battle for the Soul: Inside the Democrats’ Campaigns to Defeat Donald Trump. Dovere is a reporter for The Atlantic, this isnt’ a cheap shot from a hack. The Guardian obtained a copy and thank all the dogs in heaven they did because, without it, we could not have written the headline above, the one we’ve dreamed of writing for five and a half years.

Don’t be silly, there was never any doubt that Obama had said, and will again say, exactly what is reported in the new book. Whether the quote was ever caught on tape or reported officially was another question. But since we have it now, it’s probably best to just luxuriate in pure awesomeness and remember why we loved Obama, who wasn’t quite as sweet as Joe, but definitely cooler. According to The Guardian:

Obama called Trump a “madman”, a “racist, sexist pig”, “that fucking lunatic” and a “corrupt motherfucker”.

And if Trump wants to sue Obama for defamation, he is going to have to prove that Obama lied about any of it. (Actually, one cannot sue for opinions, and every little part of the above is an opinion, despite the fact that every single word is factually true.)

We will lay it out, from a guy who calls it like he sees it. Do pay close attention to that last part because it’s said by a former president and it says far more than every other word in the story if one simply reads it in context:

“He’s a madman,” Dovere reports Obama telling “big donors looking to squeeze a reaction out of him in exchange for the big checks they were writing to his foundation”.

“More often: ‘I didn’t think it would be this bad.’ Sometimes: ‘I didn’t think we’d have a racist, sexist pig.’ Depending on the outrage of the day … a passing ‘that fucking lunatic’ with a shake of his head.”

Obama’s strongest remark, Dovere reports, was prompted by reports that Trump was speaking to foreign leaders – including Vladimir Putin, amid the investigation of Russian election interference and links between Trump and Moscow – without any aides on the call.

“‘That corrupt motherfucker,’ he remarked.”

It would take a former president to truly appreciate the depravity of that policy – speaking to a foreign leader, especially Putin, alone. Presidents always have at least three to four people in the room during an important call. They have a translator and a second translator in case there’s confusion. They have an expert, often the ambassador, they have someone who can pull out instant research, outlined remarks, highlights of necessary points. But more than anything? Each one of them serves as the President’s witnesses!

Without witnesses, a guy like Putin could come out and say, “President Trump said that he would give Alaska back to the Russia because the United States never paid a fair price.” The Kremlin would have the computer capability to make it sound legitimate and our country wouldn’t know what to believe about who. Now, that’s a silly example, but it could arise in an issue that is not at all silly. President Obama saw that one detail and knew, he knew exactly what that meant.

It meant that Trump is a corrupt motherf***er. Preach it! Trump had to talk to Putin about things that no one else could know.
