Sarah Huckabee Sanders Has a Major Problem: Getting into the Governor’s Mansion Won’t Be as Easy as She Thought

This might be the best political ad ever made, certainly one of them.

But, first things first, Sarah Huckabee Sanders hasn’t even won the GOP nomination for governor in Arkansas, yet. And some have said that in spite of her name and good-standing in MAGA-world, she may have some troubles in Arkansas, which is a bit more complicated than other states, being the home of so many huge companies.

But let’s say that, as expected, Huckabee goes on to win the nomination. She has a problem, Chris Jones.

As we said above, Chris Jones may have just put out the best political ad we’ve ever seen. Some on the Right will immediately call out the support as rooted in lingering white guilt. So be it. There is a lot to feel guilty about, and – yes, we mean among liberals, too. But in reality, one could put an old white guy in the center of this ad and it would be just as compelling.

It is what you get when you cross a man whose family was born in slavery, worked their way out into the world, into a boy that had a dream, who became both an ordained minister and a guy with a Ph.D. in physics from MIT. Even some of us writers get misty-eyed thinking about the beauty of spatial geometry in general relativity, this guy finds a way to make it part of his ad, on his minister’s rob…

Or, you can just vote for smokey-eyes Sara Huck, pick. As we said, she has a problem because there are just a fraction on the right who have that white guilt thing or Senator Warnock would still be Reverend Warnock. We won’t get a Senator Jones if he beats Sarah, but it’s a great start, and he’d be one step closer, to something big.

We’re serious. Bill Clinton went from the Governor’s mansion in Arkansas to the White House. Why not Jones?
