One Republican Congressman from Texas who happens to be the former White House physician said Thursday that he believed President Joe Biden would resign because of what he described as Biden’s “limited cognitive abilities,” The Hill reports.

And Ronny Jackson, the aforementioned former White House physician, seemed to be in lockstep with host Sean Hannity, who criticized some of Biden’s responses at a CNN town hall event last week as “completely incomprehensible.

During the interview with Jackson, Hannity asserted Biden wouldn’t do well on a cognitive test, repeating a common Republican claim that Biden’s health is in decline.

If you guessed Hannity then compared Biden with former President Donald Trump, congratulations! You win the blue ribbon.

“Donald Trump took a cognitive test. He got 30 out of 30 right,” Hannity said. “I hear it’s a very difficult test. I do not think Joe Biden would do well on that test. Is that a fair assessment based on what I’m observing?”

“Absolutely, Sean, and I’ve been saying this from the very beginning,” Jackson responded. “I’ve been saying this from the very beginning. I’ve been saying that something’s going on here. I was saying this when he was candidate Joe Biden, and I’ve been saying it’s only going to get worse and guess what. We’re watching that happen right before our eyes right now.”

At this point, Jackson concurred with Hannity that Biden is going to resign.

“There’s something seriously going on with this man right now, and you know, I think he’s either going to resign, they’re going to convince him to resign, they’re going to convince him to resign at some point in the near future for medical issues or they’re going to have to use the 25th Amendment to get rid of this man right now,” he said.

Then he tweeted a video of Biden answering a reporter’s question and said “He’s completely LOST it! Needs a cognitive exam now!”

Jackson has been stirring this particular pot since June when he circulated a letter pushing for Biden to take a cognitive test to prove he’s mentally fit to continue serving as president. The letter was signed by more than a dozen Republicans.

But Jackson has made ridiculous assertions in the past, especially in regards to Trump’s health. In 2018 during a White House briefing, he described Trump’s diet as “excellent” even though Trump regularly consumes fast food and never exercises. And looks like he eats fast food and never exercises.

According to White House officials last May, Biden is scheduled to take his annual physical exam “later this year” and said they would make the results public.

Perhaps Jackson has forgotten the numerous times when Trump slurred his words, stumbled on ramps and stairs. uttered a word salad, and just plain looked unhealthy.

Sure is funny that Republicans like Jackson have short memories when it suits them, don’t you think?
