Fox News Says Democrats are ‘Pushing Deadly Storms’ to Further Radical Agenda

If anyone has seen any of the video coming out of the northeast this week (or lives in the northeast) one knows that the media isn’t “pushing” anything. Millions of people have suffered property damage and – this is critical – most homeowners’ insurance doesn’t cover water damage, water leads to mold, mold leads to structural failure.

That doesn’t even count the commercial business failures and the infrastructure damage. From Louisiana to the Northeast, if anything, the storm has been “undercovered,” but to Fox, this whole thing is being “pushed” to further the “radical agenda,” trying to stop it all by addressing global warming. We didn’t even mention California, so we should mention California.

Fivefold? Who is cherry-picking data? “Deaths” are not the measure! We have far better forecasting. We have far better infrastructure to get people out. We have far better medical care and medical evacuations. People live due to our medicines and doctors. Of course, deaths are going to go down.

The measure is the property damage and the damage to the earth. Go see the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, it’s not as great anymore due to ocean acidity. Go to Glacier National Park, just don’t expect glaciers. Go see the snows on Kilimanjaro, just don’t expect to see snow.

Isn’t it weird that during the same week that California is having both one of its biggest fires and biggest droughts, the northeast just had its biggest flood, while Louisiana just had one of the strongest hurricanes to hit the mainland? Isn’t that weird?

It is so strange that the conservatives care so little. It would be amazing if the insurance industry would take on the petroleum industry in purchasing the Republican party. Wonder who would win?
