Trump Blames Democrats for the Unvaccinated: ‘Never Happened When I Was President’

Coy little boy Trump is playing with the public on vaccines again. The same man who was asked about a booster to his vaccine and said, “They’re not for me,” is now putting the vaccine “hesitancy” (as it’s called on Fox News) solely on the Democrats. This is just too awful, the same man who led the MAGA masses to hate all things mask, which transitioned into hating all things vaccine, is now – of course – acting as though there’s no seamless line there.

According to The Hill:

The former president in an interview with Fox News claimed more Americans were interested in getting the COVID-19 vaccine when he was president and accused Democrats of downplaying it.

“If you remember, when I was president, there were literally lines of people wanting to take it,” Trump told Fox News. “Now, you have a different situation, and it’s very bad.”

Correct, it is very bad because Trump initially refused to believe anything that came out of the CDC. Thus, his followers – the “fire Fauci” crowd, are refusing to take the damned vaccine, and he knows it. Trump then, of course, lied:

Trump also criticized Democratic leaders, including Vice President Harris, for previously saying they wouldn’t get vaccinated if Trump himself was pushing it. “Of course, they famously said, ‘If Trump came up with it, I’ll never take it,'” Trump said. “They disparaged the vaccine, and now they wonder why people aren’t wanting to take it? It’s a disgrace.”

Vice President Harris said that she wouldn’t take a vaccine that Trump vouched for, she always said that she would take a vaccine that the CDC approved or recommended. Trump misconstrued the facts and then lied about the result. Maybe he should look at the map and the highest unvaccinated rates remain, it’s not Massachusetts that is pulling the country down.
