Meghan McCain Forced to Shut Down Replies to Her Tweet About Her ‘Sexy and Brilliant’ Husband

Some of us cannot even figure out what it would be like to be anti LTBTQ. Sure, a lot of us folks 40 or over likely went through a period when it was a bit suspect. No one hated them, but stuff was a bit awkward back then. That’s on us.

But all of us have learned so much since then. The fact that people are born that way just like some of us are born left-handed and one shouldn’t hate left-handed people. Life is hard enough for us with notebooks and pencils and all.

Some drift toward the LGBTQ community as they find their true selves. Who among us was the same person at 30 as we were at 18? We all evolve. So, our friends in the LGBTQ community were either born that way or evolved just as we did. How is it a quality someone could hate?

Regardless, back to the point. Nowadays, hating the LGBTQ community takes work. One has to ignore all the beauty out there, the pride. One has to choose hatred, unlike any choice to be gay. For that reason alone, we choose to hate the repulsive people who choose hatred over love.

Meghan McCain’s husband has chosen hatred over love on many occasions. So many, that Queerty has an article pointing it out as a response to McCain’s tweet, that she quickly pulled after getting piled on in replies:

Well, not quite so, according to Queerty:

In addition to publishing countless homophobic and transphobic hit pieces, he has a looooong history of making disparaging remarks about queer people on Twitter, and he once had to issue an apology to SCOTUS Justice Elena Kagan for trying to out her in a blog post. (He later had to issue a second apology when his first apology ended up not being an actual apology.)

Immediately after writing the tweet, McCain, who never misses an opportunity to crow about free speech or how much she hates cancel culture, quickly disabled the public comments. We can’t imagine why!?!?
