SNL Absolutely Rips MAGA Anti-Vaxxers at School Board Meetings: ‘I Don’t Have a Child and Don’t Live in This Town!’
How many times have we noted that the MAGAs were writing their own SNL skits? One of the best came out during Saturday night’s show, centered upon a board meeting on COVID policy at the former “Robert E. Lee High School,” renamed the “Robert E. Lee Is Bad High School.”
The first woman up, played by Cecily Strong hit a perfect tone in announcing; “I am concerned and I am also crazy– let’s begin,” she then began to throw out all kinds of stats, clearly over her head (and ours), to only then announce, “This is all about Israel.”
The “Board’s” response and her answer were even better, really hitting home regarding a big part of the entire vaccination debate in this country; “Okay, ma’am, do you have a question about the district’s Covid policies or your child’s safety?” Strong shot back, “I don’t have a child, and I don’t live in this town.”
The next parent up brought up yet another issue driving the MAGAs crazy while we also address the COVID crisis. And just like the vaccination benefits, the typical MAGA didn’t really understand this issue, either; “I am so mad I am literally shaking right now. Forget Covid, the real threat is critical race theory. My question is: What is it? And why am I mad about it?”

Utterly perfect. Especially at a grade school to the high school level, where schools were asked to teach nothing more than the reality of slavery, not gloss over it (or leave it unaddressed completely), while also asking students to consider the fact that perhaps the country hasn’t been perfect in every way. Most countries don’t feel the need to continually reassert that they are exceptional. Most countries are content to simply say they’re a great country, unafraid to address a flawed past. Critical race theory doesn’t ask people to accept anything more.
One should watch the entire skit:
