Lincoln Project’s New Video Eviscerates Melania’s Christmas, ‘What a Difference a Year Makes!’

Look, I really love the guys at the Lincoln Project. I know, they are Republicans, and when and if Trumpism disappears they will go back to being Republicans. But their fight against Trump has been great. (Obviously all that yucky stuff with the former member is disgusting and we don’t support that).

That said, The Lincoln Project put out a new video that reminds Americans what Christmas was like during the Trump years.

As I’m sure you remember, Melania Trump was caught on secretly recorded tapes discussing everything from the White House Christmas decorations to the situation regarding family separation at the border—and what she had to say has left some shocked. Well, the Lincoln Project used that recording as a backdrop to visuals showing Melania and her unique Christmas style.

The recordings were from a 2018 conversation Melania had with former adviser and friend Stephanie Winston Wolkoff.

“I’m working…my ass off on the Christmas stuff, that you know. Who gives a fuck about the Christmas stuff and decorations? But I need to do it, right?” the former first lady is heard telling Winston Wolkoff about her much criticized White House decor.

She goes on to rail against critics who expected her to do more to intervene in the Trump administration’s family-separation policy, seeming to cast some of the blame onto former president Barack Obama. “Okay, and then I do it and I say that I’m working on Christmas and planning for the Christmas, and they said, ‘Oh, what about the children that they were separated?’” she said. “Give me a fucking break.

“Give me a fucking break”.
