AOC Tests Positive for COVID After Trip to Florida and Fox News Totally Blows Their Reporting on It

Remember, they promoted it. They thought it was cool, they had owned the ultimate lib.

Now, of course, what went unsaid is that we’re positive that AOC is triple vaxxed, that they were outside, they were over six feet apart, they were eating at a restaurant, and they were an intimate couple, not in a club. This isn’t exactly any sort of freedom that they couldn’t have enjoyed in New York. They left that part out.

And then AOC made one of her mistakes, the type that a young representative with far less experience and less tempered passion makes; The Right has about a dozen that make far worse mistakes on a routine basis, she just made a small one:

We have no idea what the feet have to do with anything but she should have used the opportunity to leave the projection thing out (most of us on the left cannot date her either, though we love to fool ourselves to think we can, even those of us that are pretty-well taken). She should have laid out how she was following every rule that would have allowed her to do the same thing in Manhattan.

Having sort of won a victory (because AOC didn’t get a good parting shot in), the GOP just couldn’t let it go and, as typical, were their own worst enemies were their own self-own:

It is almost like Fox News is advertising, “Come to Florida and we’ll get you hooked-up right away!” No one ever said that the vaccines would prevent someone for testing positive for COVID, the idea was to keep you from being less sick, out of the hospital, definitely out of the ICU, almost for sure not on a ventilator, and all but the rarest of the rare with preconditions have a fatal case.

So, AOC goes to Florida and… “Free Florida gives her COVID, even though she seemed to be following CDC rules (Omicron’s rules are different, it is likely that most of the country will get it).

Additionally, all the masks, distance, all that. It was to protect others, even more than yourself. Yet another reason it never resonated with the Republicans. That’s not how they work.
