SORRY, MELANIA: Jill Biden First FLOTUS to be on Cover of Harper’s Bazaar and Her Photo Spread is STUNNING

Here at Political Flare we write about so much that is sad and depressing…and frustrating, that I thought it would be fun to bring some fun content to the site today. And what’s better than Dr. Jill Biden being on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar…and being the first First Lady to ever grace their cover in the magazine’s 155-year history.

In the cover story, Dr. Jill opened up about how she balances both her duties as a teacher and FLOTUS, and also gives us an inside peek into the Biden’s marriage…even how they fight. And being the petty woman I am, obviously I must mention that Melania Trump never nailed the cover of Bazaar. Well, in all fairness, Melania was on the cover of the Spanish edition of Bazaar in 1996, when she was working as a model. But she was never on the US version, and never as FLOTUS. Trust me, it matters. Melania would’ve LOVED to have done a full spread like Dr. Biden did…but Bazaar was smart enough to know their readers, and knew that no one would buy a magazine with a Trump on the cover. Especially a Trump that wore a jacket saying “I Really Don’t Care, Do U” to visit migrant children separated from their parents at the border. (Sorry, that’s Melania’s legacy…forever.)

From Hollywood Life on why she still works:

Jill has been married to President Joe Biden since 1977, back when he was just a senator, but before she met the man who’d become the 46th President of the United States, she was married to Bill Stevenson, another student she’d met at the University of Delaware, from 1970 to 1975, when the pair divorced. She revealed that the split had taken both an emotional and financial toll on her, but she said that it led to one of the biggest lessons she’s given her own kids. “I knew I would never, ever put myself in that position again—where I didn’t feel like I had the finances to be on my own, that I had to get the money through a divorce settlement,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “I drummed that into my daughter, Ashley: Be independent, be independent. And my granddaughters—you have to be able to stand on your own two feet.”

Other than the inspiring interview, Jill also looked beautiful in a wide array of outfits in the photoshoots for the magazine, and she really killed it. Remember, this woman is 70, and looks absolutely incredible.
