Watch Georgia Voter Tell Marjorie Taylor Greene He’s Casting His First Democratic Vote in His Life Because of Her

It is really hard to know whether to find the story below uplifting or a reminder as to just how sad this state of affairs has gotten. A man walks up to Marjorie Taylor-Greene, a woman who isn’t even allowed to sit on Committees, and tells her that she’s forcing him to cast the first Democratic vote in his life.

Obviously, it is entirely understandable, laudable, f’ing obvious! So great, here’s one guy. But she’s the favorite to win her primary in GA, according to CNN. And if she wins the primary, she’s an automatic for the November election. Remember, in 2020, she ran in a primary against a neurosurgeon every bit as conservative as her, just not as crazy. She won. CNN thinks she’ll win again though she has a tough challenger:

The controversial Greene is often mentioned in the same breath as other Donald Trump acolytes in the US House, such as North Carolina Rep. Madison Cawthorn, who lost his primary earlier this week. But unlike in the Tar Heel state, where Republicans — including the state’s junior GOP senator — mobilized against Cawthorn, Greene hasn’t encountered the same level of organized opposition — or spending — against her.

She is too popular with Trump. He’s still protecting her to some extent, not unlike Matt Gaetz.

And even many of the GOP voters whom CNN met in the 14th Congressional District who had qualms about Greene — “I like her politics but not her demeanor” was a frequent refrain — hadn’t heard of the Republicans running against her for this northwest Georgia seat.

Her demeanor? We wonder if “racism” is included in “politics.” Because the one Georgia voter to confront her and say he’s voting Democratic for the very first time in his life did so because of MTG’s anti-Semitism. Watch:

Again, do you feel good about that? Or does it just remind you that there are so few like him? It is hard to tell. It is fun watching her squirm as she gets dressed down for what she cannot deny.
