Kellyanne Conway’s book Here’s The Deal has been out for roughly a month and while it enjoyed brief popularity on the New York Times bestseller list, it has sunk like a stone in the weeks since. Sales have been so awful, in fact, that Amazon is slashing the price.

Oh sure, things, in the beginning, looked rosy, what with the book hitting the number one spot on the NYT’s nonfiction bestseller list, selling 25,000 copies. But by the second week, the book tumbled down to just 8000 copies sold. Then just 5000 copies, Queerty reports. The books’ standing on Amazon is now so bad, in fact, that it sits at #5,415 in the company’s Kindle store. Apparently, it’s even dipped all the way down to less than 1000 hardcover copies being sold last week.

Ouch.

But even though the book is a dud, Kellyanne, the Trump White House’s former favorite alternative fact spinner is sticking to her contract by continuing to promote her book, but even that’s been downgraded. She had been doing high-profile appearances on Good Morning America and The View. Now she’s having to settle for Zoom interviews with the Christian Broadcasting Network and recently an email Q & A with AmericanThinker.com.

Yup. That’s quite a fall from grace.

At one point during her interview with AmericanThinker, Conway was asked about her thoughts on the overturning of Roe v. Wade, Conway said “The ‘follow the science crowd’ say they know a five-year-old should be masked up say they know that a five-year-old should be masked up. They cannot look at a five-month-old sonagram [sic] and ignore the heartbeat, eyes, and limbs.”

“Let’s follow the science,” Kellyanne continued. “Anyone who cannot tell what is on that sonagram [sic] is anti-science, especially if he believes in abortion at any time, up to the moment of birth, like the Colorado law.”

What neither the program host nor Conway mention here is that there’s a big difference between say, a just-conceived embryo and a five-month-old fetus. Because of course, they wouldn’t.

But there’s even more fun for Kellyanne it seems. Her daughter Claudia is growing up to be a free-thinker and is definitely rebellious. On her Instagram, she’s written: PROTECT WOMEN’S RIGHTS” and last weekend attended a pro-choice rally in Washington Square Park, where she can be seen in one post holding up a sign that read “F*ck SCOTUS.”

Claudia capped that off by heading out to a New York Pride event, and since her mom has lots of anti-LGBTQ, anti-woman colleagues, this ought to ruffle lots of feathers. I’m guessing things are going to be a bit tense around the Conway household for a little while if that isn’t the only situation already.

I hope Claudia keeps being a firebrand. We need more like her, and less like her mother.
