Herschel Walker Tries to Explain Climate Change and It’s Incomprehensible and Just Plain Sad

Herschel Walker recently spoke on climate change and his strangely off-the-wall comments have some people really scratching their heads, wondering if this Donald Trump-endorsed candidate for Georgia’s Senate is really okay. Especially after he blamed China for ruining America’s good air.

GOP candidate Walker launched into this bizarre rant during the Hall County GOP Independence Day Picnic where he claimed the Green New Deal simply wouldn’t work, according to Mediaite.

Last week The Daily Beast reported his staff no longer trusts Walker to speak off the cuff because his frequently bizarre comments wind up all too often in the news cycle. The situation for his campaign staffers has become a tension-filled one, drawing scrutiny from staffers and donors alike openly questioning his ability to campaign and serve in office.

As he spoke, Walker said “we need energy for everything,” adding “they would talk about the Green New Deal, you know, climate change. I’m gonna help y’all with that real quickly.”

“We in America have some of the cleanest air, the cleanest water of anybody in the world,” he claimed.

Then Walker raised questions about the amount of money being used to combat climate change, arguing that China and India “put nothing cleaning that situation up.”

He claimed the U.S. isn’t being polluted by its own citizens, but that instead “Since we don’t control the air our good air decided to float over to China’s bad air so when China gets our good air, their bad air got to move.”

Because Walker makes such bizarre comments, it’s led some people to believe Walker may very well be suffering from Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), due to his years as a running back for the Minnesota Vikings and the Dallas Cowboys. He has won his state’s Republican Party Primary and is running against incumbent Raphael Warnock.

And this is truly sad because CTE is a degenerative brain disease that spreads slowly, killing brain cells as it goes.

The sports, politics, and entertainment site, The Bank notes:

“That’s extremely frightening because Walker won’t even do a single debate, and the reason is clear,” writes paulmbanks. “He can’t express a clear, concise view on policy. At this point all he’s doing is non-decipherable word salad.”

But this condition can only be diagnosed by analyzing brain tissue after a person has died.

Undoubtedly, Walker’s strange commentary hasn’t helped him politically. A Quinnipiac poll published at the end of June shows he’s well behind Warnock by some 10 points. Originally Walker and Warnock polled 49 percent and 48 percent respectively last winter, so this is a big change.

Then of course there’s also the fact that it’s recently been revealed that Walker fathered three children outside the public eye and that has sparked controversy. It makes you wonder what else he may be hiding?

Hopefully, Walker will stay well behind Warnock because he clearly doesn’t have what it takes to be a senator. If he has this tragic condition, I hope he gets the help he surely needs. How sad.
