George Conway is Openly Trolling His Wife Kellyanne on Twitter Over Trump’s FBI Raid

Folks on Twitter are having a field day with Kellyanne Conway thanks to a tweet she posted in 2016 that did not age well. Even her estranged husband George Conway is having a go at it.

“Most people I know are not under FBI investigation,” Trump’s former “it” tweeted in late October 28, 2016, “let alone two.”

Conway was referring to Hillary Clinton, who was at the time being investigated by the agency in regards to her using a personal email system while she served as Secretary of State. But the exhaustive investigation turned up “no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information.”

Boy, when those tables turn, they turn quickly. Making this tweet a bit, well…embarrassing. Especially as the Justice Department continues its assiduous investigation surrounding the nefarious efforts to overturn the 2020 election and January 6, 2021, attempted siege of the Capitol as it works to determine if Trump played a part in this, and if so, how much. The DOJ has kept a lid on the investigation but it has been reported that Trump’s legal team is communicating with investigators.

And this is manna to George Conway’s ears and he’s been on a Trump troll-a-thon ever since yesterday’s raid.

But he also saw fit to give Kellyanne Conway the business as well.

During her book tour earlier this year for her um, well, unsuccessful book, Kellyanne discussed her disintegrating marriage and said she often felt George broke their wedding vows when he kept dogging Trump on social media.

“I lost my husband to Twitter,” Conway told The New York Rag, er I mean Post last May. George and I … always took our marriage vows very seriously. We are faithful in our marriage.”

At one point Kellyanne was asked if she and her husband were still together, but all she said is “we’re still married.” She did however indicate they were living apart.

I often wondered what kept these two together since their feelings about Kellyanne’s former boss were so divided. But then I think about all the times George Conway has told Trump like he is and it makes me laugh. I’m glad he did that. In the CNN video below, he discusses what the FBI may have been looking for.
