Donald Trump Jr.’s arm candy/fiancee Kimberly Guilfoyle is bashing university graduates, calling them “lazy basketweavers who contribute nothing to society.”

But don’t worry. She’s getting schooled online.

Guilfoyle was all a-rant about President Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness program during an appearance Sunday on the Newsmax program Rob Schmitt Tonight, The Independent reports.

I don’t really get why people pay much attention to this woman. She looks like over-ripe fruit that’s a bit past its due date and seems to me to be about as relevant.

On the program, Guilfoyle railed that it was ridiculous to forgive loans for “people [who] want to have some bizarre basket-weaving degree, and they want all of us to subsidize their laziness and their inability to even try to contribute to society?”

Um, excuse me, but where does this woman think doctors, scientists, and lawyers come from? Don’t they contribute to society? Many of my friends are scientists and all of them did their time studying at universities.

Guilfoyle has now joined the ranks of several Republicans who have made similarly dumb remarks in response to Biden’s plan. She’s now joined Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas), who called graduates set to receive the loans “slacker baristas,” Rep. Lauren Boebert (Colorado), who said the program funds “Karen’s daughter’s degree in dance theory,” Sen. Marco Rubio (Florida), who said he easily paid off his college loans by writing a book.

Critics were quick to note on social media just how short-sighted these comments are.

“The denigration of education as an elite pastime to be shunned and mocked is one of the stranger corruptions infesting modern conservative politics,” one commentator responded.

Another added: “The GOP decision to openly insult the tens of millions of Americans with student loan debt strikes me as an odd choice.”

Especially since these Americans vote. Presumably.

But I saved the best smackdown for last:

“I’m cool with this ‘you suck, this country sucks, and also your kids suck,’ strategy. Truly brilliant and I think they should come out against puppies next,” another user said.

And some folks criticizing her over her attacks on Biden’s program are also noting she allegedly received $60,000 for a three-minute speech during the rally that foreshadowed the Jan.6, 2021, Capitol attack. Guilfoyle has yet to comment on this claim, from Jan. 6 committee member Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.).

How typical of Guilfoyle to be such a hypocrite. She derides university grads for being bums while she hangs on Don Jr.’s arm after having been dismissed from Fox News, reportedly for alleged sexual harassment, which gives her something in common with her potential father-in-law Donald Trump.

This really means she’s little more than a flash in the proverbial pan, a person who unlike the college graduates she denigrates is really the one who has contributed little to society.
