Hillary Clinton Taunts Melania Trump With Just the Most Perfect Question Ever

On Watch What Happens Live, television host Andy Cohen asked Hillary Clinton what’s the one question she would like to ask Melania Trump. Clinton responded with a real zinger:

“How’s your summer going? she told Cohen quite bluntly, referring, of course, to the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago, where classified documents were seized.

Clinton and her daughter Chelsea Clinton appeared on Cohen’s show to promote their Apple TV show Gutsy. Cohen also asked the former presidential candidate and secretary of state what she’d like to ask Supreme Court Justice Clarence, whose wife Ginni Thomas, a major supporter of former President Donald Trump, has proven to be an alleged pot-stirrer in the attempt to overthrow Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory, The Independent reports.

“Don’t you want to retire?” Clinton said she would ask Justice Thomas, who played an influential role in the Supreme Court’s recent overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Clinton told Cohen she often reflects on how accurate her predictions about Trump’s presidency have been.

“It does cross my mind honestly,” she said.

Like so many of us who feel the same way, all this really does is make her feel melancholy.

“But it doesn’t provide any kind of solace to me,” she told Cohen. “I am so sad, I am so distressed that everything that happened during the time that he was there, and then his refusal to accept the election, and inciting violence, is heartbreaking.”

She expressed hope that both parties will find a way to work through the damage Trump has caused.

“I hope people (of whatever party) will just say, ‘No, enough! We are not going to let that kind of divisiveness and disruption exist in our country any longer.’ It’s so important to stop it.”

But the MAGA crowd, whose often-crazed support of Trump isn’t going away easily, spawned this divisiveness. I don’t know how all of this will end, but progressives will need to step up to prevent more damage from being done.

In other words, we’re in for trying times.
